What's Beyond My Head

Over the past year, I've been working with fantastic Canadian children's book author Natalie Kessler on her new book ‘What's Beyond My Head’. A whimsical story about learning that you are not the only one in this world! Natalie is not only an amazing author. She’s also an orchestral double bassist, an advanced music specialist at the Royal Conservatory of Music, and founder of Canadian mustard company Organics and Gold. The book will be published by Pegasus Elliot MacKenzie in 2023.

Communication Arts 60th Anniversary Annual - including my work!

Communication Arts 60th Anniversary Annual is out now - including my work, which has also won the Award of Excellence this year. I’m so happy and proud! Back in the days as a design student I often leafed through the pages of our schools’ big collection of CommArts magazines of the past decades and it has always been a great inspiration for me. To appear in this annual today is like a dream come true.

Founded 1959 in California, Communication Arts is the largest international trade journal of visual communication and the Award of Excellence is one of the most-coveted awards in the industry. Every year the winners are selected by a nationally representative jury. Past judges and winners have included design and illustration legends such as Saul Bass, Michael Bierut, Milton Glaser, and Paula Scher.

My work can also be seen on the back cover of the annual.
